Developing life skills in the kitchen
ASDAN Meal Preparation and Cooking
All our young people are working towards their ASDAN Meal Preparation & Cooking qualification. Starting by using their senses to explore foods they are supported to learn how to use tools safely as they peel carrots, chop mushrooms and bake cakes. In the Post 16 class they use their skills to cook their lunch with increased independence as they prepare for life after Endeavour.
