What is the Rights Respecting Schools Award?

UNICEF works with partners and supporters all over the world to make the world a safer place for every child.

UNICEF works with schools in the UK to create safe and inspiring places to learn, where children are respected, their talents are nurtured, and they are able to thrive.

Rights Respecting Schools Award embeds these values in daily school life and gives children the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens.

United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), created in 1989, recognises that children have the right to be treated with dignity and fairness, to be protected, to develop to their full potential and to have their views respected, regardless of who they are, or where they are from.

What we are working on at Endeavour

We have created a slide show to show what it means at Endeavour for our children and young people to enjoy their rights!
