What we are working on at Endeavour
Using the Artsmark flexible framework we are reviewing our current provision and planning how to put arts, culture and creativity at the heart of our curriculum.
Post-Covid we re-introduced mosaic, music therapy and clay sessions by inviting professional artists / therapists into school to work with our children and young people on a 1:1 or small group basis.
We have started working with external organisations to increase opportunities to link up with local schools and community organisations. The first of these was proudly exhibiting our Noah's Ark display in St Mary's church, Barton as part of Oxfordshire's Arts week 2022.
In 2023 we exhibited our 'You've Got A Friend in Me' display as part of the Oxfordshire's Arts week and worked with two artists as part of Oxfordshire's Cultural Education Partnership project - The Gift and enjoyed delivering the art canvas we have made to the pupils of St Swithun's CE primary school.
In 2024 we are working with Townsend House Care Home on their miniature garden village and have created 2D buildings, a village pond and visual signs. We look forward to creating mobiles for a sensory tree in their grounds in the Autumn term.
